“What do you care?” Tonk asked, scowling at Andrew, jerking her hand away, crossing her arms over her chest.
“When someone says they plan on asking you out, that tends to mean they care,” Andrew sighed. “A guy? Recently?”
“I love him.”
“But he doesn’t love you?”
“He isn’t willing to,” Tonk sighed, trying not to tense as Andrew curled his arms around her. “He thinks it’s too risky.”
“Love is always a risk,” Andrew said softly, resting his head on Tonks’s shoulder. “He’s not the one if he isn’t willing to risk it.”
“But I love him.”
“I know.”
