Snape was late in arriving at the latest DeathEater meeting. Standing next to the Dark Lord was the robed, masked figure of one of the newest DeathEaters. Privately, Snape wondered how people could still be so foolish or desperate to take up with a constantly failing, sadistic megalomaniac. Somehow, there were always a few new "faces".
"Severus," said Voldemort, "I'm glad you're here. I have something of interest to you. Or, I should say, of interest, about you. Your Ministry file. Including all the evidence Dumbledore gave the Wizengamot."
The mask came off the new DeathEater. Cornelius Fudge.
Snape exclaimed, "Oh ----!"
