Ugh, I think I need to go and see the dentist. I’ve been putting it off for forever and I don’t think I can do it anymore…
Granted, I’ve had reasons to put it off. I never had the money for the longest time and I need something more than a cleaning. I’ve been having this problem with one of my lower molars. I think it’s a cavity, but I don’t know for sure. It wasn’t too bad at first, but it’s been getting steadily worse over the years (as can happen). Now it looks to be cracked and there’s swelling involved and some pain and I can’t ignore it anymore. I know, I’m a bad person for letting it go for as long as I have. I mean, I haven’t been to the dentist since the ninth grade. I’m almost 35 (O_o) now, if that gives you any indication as to how long it’s been.
And yes, I’m scared. I mean I’m not exactly fond of pain and the possibility of having extensive work done isn’t exactly soothing to me. And I think I’m gonna need some definite work done, like having at least two teeth pulled and possibly a root canal (O_O). But, if it means I can eat with both sides of my mouth without pain, then so be it. I will bite the bullet and do it. And if I need a bullet to bite down on, then so be it… again.
Mom and I went to see ‘The Green Hornet’ this weekend. I liked it. Kato kicked all sorts of ass. Mom was a little indifferent because she’d seen the original tv show with Bruce Lee. She thought the Hornet (as played by Seth Rogen) came off as a bit of a jerk. But he became more of the traditional Green Hornet at the end.
We also did our taxes this weekend. And I will be getting some money back, although a portion of it will be taken back due to the whole fiasco that was last year and the ‘additional income’ the IRS claimed I had due to one of my credit cards absolving the debt I owed them. Whatever. I may not be able to get the iPad like I had wanted, but there’s a chance I can get me my own Alice Dollen! So, that’s something to look forward to.
And I've been watching 'Ouran High School Host club' via Netflix instant play, and I'm hooked. I'll admit it...
