I used to go to a con down in Florida. Necronomicon and every year they found some brewery to come in and give samples. I sadly always missed it but I always heard how great it was to go to.

Think if a con did that you would be interested in attending??

I doubt our awesome hotel for RCFM would allow this without charging something. then again if it was a private room party, outside of con programing space, they cant say anything can they.

No dances huh? What did they fill the programming with then??

Open invite room parties sounds great. More friendly feeling also.

Honestly, dances at RCFM have had tiny attendance. At most there may have been 10-15 people at the dance at any one time this year. They instead had a Masquerade, Open Filking, Movie Screenings and an event called "Are you Smarter than a Con Guest" a bit of a trivia thing. All of these were heavily attended.

Also we are unable to have a "party floor" at RCFM's hotel because the noise would be sure to make the hotel staff unhappy... especially with an open door policy.
