Best thing to happen in the last few days: Friend of a friend told me I'm better looking now than in my high school yearbook picture. (Considering that I weighed a good 20 lbs less in that photo, I'm pretty darn flattered.)
Lousiest thing to happen in the last few days: Little girl (couldn't have been older than 7) sitting behind me on the Greyhound (Boston-NYC) vomiting loudly and more or less non-stop over the course of 4 1/2 hours.
