During my teenage years, I enjoyed a rather steamy albeit one-sided and unrequited affair with Porsches. As the years have passed, things have cooled off between us, due in part to a lack of a winning lottery ticket and my decision to pursue liberal arts instead of engineering. However, the affection still lingers.
Today my dear father passed along some Porsche propaganda to me. Frankly, the copy is some of the sexiest writing I've seen for awhile. Consider this description for the 612 hp Carrera GT:
"Mid-mounted, longitudinal layout, water-cooled, naturally aspirated V10 with 68 degree angle, dry sump lubrication, four valve titanium rods w/VarioCam variable valve timing system."
It's also is equipped with double wishbones pushrod coupling.
I want to write copy for Porsche.
Must go fetch a glass of cold water now...
