An event I never thought I would be happy about

This morning I paid $1.99/gallon for gas. Yippee!
In other news:
In an hour some friends and I are driving up to the San Juans for a few days, with a side trip to Vancouver Island, and a stop at IKEA on the way back. Should be a hideous time: sitting around, eating, reading, writing, maybe walking twenty feet down to the water's edge if we're feeling energetic.
Hopefully I'll find more cool paper towel dispensers somewhere along the way...
