Higgins Lake
Went up to Higgins Lake tuesday afternoon and Ollie Z, my neighbor/roommate Adam and my dad went with me. It was a beautiful trip. The drive is amazing especially around the Houghton area and the lake, absolutely gorgeous. Went swimming wednesday there was a ton of people at the beach I'm really not sure why, the water was soooo cold everything shrunk! except my suit. It was so relaxing sleeping in a tent, waking up to the birds and woodpeckers. wednesday night we were chillin drinkin by the fire and the neighbors were up drinking also. Their friend had passed out in his tent, then woke up and started singing if I had a million dollars. It was soo funny we were talking to him but he wouldn't come out of his tent and drink with us. I ended up giving him one of mine becasue i would apreciate it if that was me in that situation. Well ended up falling asleep around 4 this morning and getting up to see my dad and my sister gone and all I needed to do was pack up my things squeeze it all into my car and get out of town. I would have to say its been a good few days I wish I could do that more often. I love camping and getting into the woods!
