Team America: World Police ... the quick review
The last time I got carded for a movie was for Matt Stone and Trey Parker's South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut. I thought it was kind of ridiculous at the time and couldn't believe it had happened ... until the song "Uncle Fucker" came on.
Then it all made perfect sense.
Last night I got carded again I went to see Matt and Trey's latest Opus, Team America: World Police.
About a half hour into the movie I wanted to get up and leave ... but not because I was offended ... I wanted to leave so I could come back and watch it again new ... so I could live knowing there was something in this world that could still bring me joy ... and because I was afraid I might never experience a moment of happiness like that again.
I wanted to savor the feeling of awe, fascination and fun those freak-genius maestros had handed down to me again.
I cannot explain with my simple words the level on which I loved that movie.
AMERICA ..... FUCK YEAH!!!!!
