GUESS WHAT

It snowed. Last night it was +15 and raining, and this morning it was -3 and the ground was covered in snow. Calgary is a very annoying city sometimes. But they have a damn good hockey team. But when you think about it, professional sports are so stupid. NHL players get paid millions to hit a piece of a rubber with an elongated piece of wood. Think about it...it may be entertaining to watch, but what about all the dying people in the world? And the animals and habitats that could be saved? Humans are so greedy by nature. I hate it. I quit team sports 3 years ago. They are bullshit. I hate being told what to do by a coach, and having to do what all the players on the team expect of me. I love skateboarding because I set my own goals, and I can progress in my own time. I also like fishing. Call me a hypocrite, but I can't help it. The thing that makes me feel better about it though is that fish don't feel pain. I read an article about these university students who, through numerous experiments, determined that fish don't have nervous systems that allow them to feel pain. So I think of catching a fish like catching a snake. I never actually do catch fish in Alberta, but that's not why I fish. I fish because it's a great way to connect with nature. Standing in a river, feeling the sun on your face, hearing the birds chirp, making graceful casts; it's all so great. I quit lure fishing, I just want to fly fish because fly fishing isn't all about fish. It's more about casting, actually, and becomming one with nature. This nice guy I met gave me like 500 flies. I am very happy that there are people like this on earth. If I bought all those flies from a store, I would have paid at least $600. I can't wait until Ontario. 51 days! I'm going on June 24th, at the latest. I hope I can do grade 10 again. What I want to do is get like 30 credits this year, than do some extra stuff next year (along with grade 11 stuff) and I will graduate with around 120 credits. I want to become a teacher I think, but I won't worry about that until the time comes. Remember to live for today, and don't worry about the next day, or the next month, year, etc.
Have a good one,
Jebadiah
