ITS MY BIRTHDAY
I sit here in a room,
Staring at the same four walls,
Alone, pondering what my friends are doing back home.
Wishing Saturday will come,
SO I am not all alone,
Wishin and Wanting that day to come so fast.
I wish the phone would ring,
Hoping its that job offer, from across the way.
Wishing and Wanting to get my life started on my dreams.
I wish things would hurry up,
I wish that my love was here by my side,
This bed Is a really big bed for one person.
I wish I wasnt so alone at times,
Thats the thing that scares me the most.
Is sitting here day and night alone.
WOndering what you might be doing,
and Where my friends are.
But then again...
Today is my Birthday,
Even though my friends are not here,
They are here in my heart and soul,
I am sure there phone calls will make this birthday
