A secret santa is where you put everybody's name into a hat and mix them up. Whoever's name you pick is the person you have to (secretly) buy a gift for that year. It's fun and it means everybody in the office gets something special.

The 21st would work, that way nobody needs to wake up too early the morning after. Those of us not on juice and water, I mean.
