why some people won't grow up
Reason #7850297402750 why i hate hardcore and "scene" people.. You go out of your way to do nice shit for people...and they shit on you and act like they are 3 years old. Reason you ask??? unknown. All I know is I have tried to help my friends in the past in numerous ways when it comes to music and it always ends up with the same result... I get fucked..and not in the good way either. I guess I'm looking in the wrong age group. I see what makes bands succesful...and it's not talent. It's sticking to a responsibility that you commit to, not only to yourself, but to the other people as well.having self-respect and respect for others. I just hope I can find people in this city who want to play music because they love to do it and would trade it in any night of the week for a night of drinking and rehashing high school shit...I wish i was in verktum..hahaha
I've got a drummer and myself...if anyone wants to jam hit me up. Also, 5 days ago we recorded some new shit for the soft band I'm in with my friend katie singing, matt on drums, alan wells on guitar, and this other dude on bass. It sounds fucking great. It's like indie/rock with christina aguilera singing....I might have a career after all and I hope me and the dudes...and katie...can have that... Because we really do fucking deserve it. I've worked too hard for too long to come up short all this time. I'm cashing in my guitar head (If I ever get it back without having to press charges) for a sound city...which has no gain to it. goodbye hardcore and good riddance...I'm on to bigger and better things....well, those things being playing with dedicated musicians doing music I've always wanted to do.....word.
