In contrast, your current hair-dresser has been more conventional and somewhat less artistic in keeping it level at the back. Have you been noticing it feel much lighter? I'm not sure you've lost enough to make washing and drying it significantly easier. It should get caught in fewer things though!

Yes, it feels lighter and requires entirely different head movements to get it out of my face. I suspect I'll be spraining my neck less often now...

The short crimson hair is long gone, I'm afraid, but never forgotten. It was my favourite of my hairscapades...I'd love to have it red again someday. I did also quite like the green, though: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/176/454922730_8ae4f29012.jpg?v=0
Now, it's been growing out for some time, but still above my shoulders (given that I was bald last January). I also cut my own hair. When it's short and curly, it takes more than a month to look proper again, if you do a bad job of it...
