Yu Yu Hakusho - Kuwabara/Yuusuke - One-sentence Fic 59-63

Five one-sentence fics, from themes in the Alpha set here. These're all numbered with my running count, and then I've added the theme number and the theme itself. Check the one-sentence fic tag to read the rest. Ironic that this batch starts with #59 - we're set to get between 5" and 9" of snow and... I do not approve of that. Also - I don't have a KuwaYuu icon and... I do not approve of that either. Now, back to the soul-stealing homework of doom. D:

Yu Yu Hakusho - Kuwabara/Yuusuke One-sentence fic 59-63

1. A-22, Jealousy: It shouldn't bother him to see Yuusuke with Keiko - Kuwabara knew he had no claim to the guy, but he couldn't help the pain in his chest whenever he saw them together.
   
   
2. A-25, Devotion: "But why?" Yuusuke asked, voice tight with barely restrained emotion; Kuwabara merely smiled fondly as he replied: "You're my best friend."
   
   
3. A-35, Bonds: What they had was deeper than friendship, deeper than love, stronger than Yuusuke's stubbornness and more pure than Kuwabara's honor; it was more than "you an' me", more than "us", more than "we" - the connection they had was everything to them.
   
   
4. A-37, Technology: Neither Kuwabara nor Yuusuke were really surprised when the elevator ground to a halt between floors and the lights flickered then died - it had been one of those days all week - but they still made the best of their time alone.
   
   
5. A-50, Supernova: If his death would give Yuusuke the power or incentive or whatever he needed to win, then Kuwabara was willing to make that sacrifice - the death of one was much preferable to the deaths of many, after all - yet somehow the look on Yuusuke's face hurt more than even the wounds Kuwabara had received but he couldn't focus on that, couldn't focus on anything and slowly, so slowly... Kuwabara... faded... and Yuusuke shone brighter than ever.
