August has come and along with it my actual planned vacation time.
I got back yesterday from Reggae on the River in Piercy, CA. It was full of good Reggae music, hot sun, and pot. The three days seemed to go by really fast even though we spent it lazy-ing around the campsite, swimming in the river, or at the venue. The food booths were tasty as ever. At camp we made pirate ships out of leaves and twigs with Nicasio's five-year-old cousin Sunny. I love the Pirate love.
On the way back we stopped in Cloverdale to buy some salt and pepper Kettle chips at a weird store called Ray's food place. In addition to an abundance of alcohol this store sells coloring books entitled "God's Dinosuars".

On friday evening I leave for O'ahu. Yay! I've never been to Hawaii. I know surprisingly little about what is in store for me after this since Nic's dad is the one with the knowledge. We will be staying at Nic's great uncle's house somewhere on O'ahu and he is a judge so the house should be pretty nice. He is leaving for the states after the first three days we are there. This is all I know. I think I'd like to check out the rainforest and do some snorkeling. Any other O'ahu activity suggestions are currently being accepted. Please comment.
I am dangerously low on funds for someone going to Hawaii in a few days. At least I have housing covered and hopefully some food. If I go broke I figure hiking and swimming are free, right? And, hey I'll be in Hawaii.
I am planning on moving back to Santa Cruz the first weekend in September. I will still have a few weeks until school starts and I'd really like it if someone would come visit me during this time. Then we could have the fun of Santa Cruz without me being completely busy with school. Contact me if you want to stay in my new little place.
I will show you a good time. <3
