[x]Who are your favorite bands/singers?: This is a difficult question for me! I've been going back to some old high school-era pop-punk lately (mostly Bowling for Soup, New Found Glory, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes). I stick to a lot of indie rock and acoustic music. I love the Avett Brothers, Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, New Pornographers, Jonathan Coulton, The Hold Steady, Matt Nathanson, The Decemberists, Ben Folds, Cake, The Swell Season, I could go on and on. But, here, this may be easier:
My last.fm profile.
[x]Favorite Books: I've been getting into a lot of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett books recently. I finally read the entire Hitchhiker's Guide series a few months ago. I enjoyed Max Brook's World War Z books. I loved Michael Chabon's "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay." The few Isabel Allende books I've read were also quite good. Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse books are my guilty pleasure. I've been getting into comic books and graphic novels as of late (the Fables series, Batman, and JLA mostly).
[X]Favorite Movie: What, just one? I love campy/awesomely bad movies, especially camp horror. Zombie movies are also high on my list. I like good, semi-intelligent comedies. I also enjoy superhero movies and movies based on comics & graphic novels. I still love animated movies; what can I say from growing up on Disney? I can't stand romantic comedies though. Give me explosions any day.
[X]Favorite T.V. Show: I've started getting into Leverage, Californication, and Bones. I grew up on Golden Girls, The Muppet Show, The X-Files, and Star Trek: TNG. I will dearly miss Lost and Party Down. I loved Life on Mars and Blackpool. I keep up with True Blood, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Community, 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, and Glee. I haven't had cable for almost a year now, so I've limited myself to only watching a few shows on the channels I do get and whatever strikes my fancy on Netflix.

[x]What age do you want them to be?: Close to my age, but I'm not terribly picky.
