Round 5 - Western Australia to Western Washington!
After a long day of spending up our Christmas money, I made the hubby stop at our mailboxes. I was SO EXCITED to find a key to the larger mailboxes where they put packages - I've only been waiting on ONE THING...a Snacksters package from danicia!
The first look inside.
All the goods out of the box.
Chips and crackers - Chicken Twisties, Burger Rings, Weet-Bix and Waterthins. The Chicken Twisties and Burger Rings were especially reccommended by Australian friends on my own LJ.
Crackers and cookies - a package of Vegemite Snackabouts and Anzac cookies. Hubby may eat up all the Vegemite, but I promise to give it a whirl. The Anzac cookies made me giggle, only because the Australian customs rules were so strict about sending anything with that word into Australia. I actually had to go look it up to find out what it was all about.
Chocolates - Jaffas, Tim Tam Balls and chocolate Australian currency.
More chocolates! Polly Waffle, Caramel KitKat, Nougat Honey Log, Tim Tams, Aero bar, Chocolate Strawberry KitKat and two Cadbury chocolates - Caramello Koala and Freddo.
Calendar and more goodies - a cute koala and kangaroo calendar, a 3-pack of Kinder Surprise eggs and a can of passion fruit pulp in syrup.
All told, I am SO glad that I chose to participate in this round! danicia was a great partner and I am so excited with the goodies I get to try. I've already tried a Jaffa, had a bite off the Polly Waffle bar and this bag of Chicken Twisties is sure to be gone before the night is over.
I do feel bad that my daughter is not here to open this with me as she and I had a lot of fun putting together danicia's package. She left this morning, though, to spend a week with her grandparents. I've already called her to tell her that our "box from far far away" arrived and that I will be saving her Kinder Eggs special for her.
