2007 and 23, a look back at last year

Feb 12, 2008 00:24

In all honesty, I don't remember another age or year that could have sucked more than this past year. I mean, holy crap, how many horrible things could happen?

Since I turned 23 about 12ish days from the start of 2007, I say that the start opf the year 2007 also starts with me turning 23.

I had never been so sick in my life than I was the first few days after my 23rd birthday. Hospital visits, not eating for a weak... so much more that I'm sparing you from right now.

And then at the end, a few days before my B-day, I end up getting sick again. The only times in the year 2007 where I can safely say I was truly sick.

Other than that... so many other low points, I kinda hate thinking about the year. Just know that it sucked, and all the high points cannot counteract it.

High points include, but not limited to - a couple of new friends, my new car, the fund raiser, the community show, random weekend trips, and getting hired.

So, with that out of the way, an update of the life of Snack, and a look towards the future.

Work.

Still at the same job, still not permanent, I've had a few interviews here and there, and one is pending, but we'll see. They *did* give me a lot more responsibilities to handle, which is awesome. Though now work is very busy, as I've also been asked to help out in a bunch of other areas that are not directly related to my job. So yay.

Social life.

It's there? Ugh, I don't know. I'd rather not talk about it right now, just know that some parts are fun, others, not so much, and then there's the whole no real social life aspect of Corning. Try as I might, I don't really know how to go out and meet people. Plus, I'm not that keen on meeting people and such.

New Car.

LOVE IT! <3<3<3

Also,

I've gotten back into writing. Boo. =P

Other than that, nothing really to update with.

Though, I am always free for stern questioning, so ask away!

Until next time,
Enjoy.
