okay, so first of all, I have fucking ROCKED internet "black friday," thus allowing me a much reduced stress level as Christmas approaches.

and then send out Christmas cards, and that is ALL. As of Sunday, I had a solid 15ish more presents I was concerned about, but those are all totally set now, thank you amazon.com! \o/
Also, I am really really into Christmas this year. I intend to get a Christmas tree, wreath, garlands, lights on EVERYTHING, scented candles, ridiculous holiday decorations that no one in their right mind would buy, tacky tacky tacky. I'm gonna DO IT. and I'm going to bake. I've already successfully made those orange/cranberry/white chocolate chip cookies, and I want to try again but experiment with the spice cabinet. MOAR NUTMEG IN EVERYTHING. Maybe I can make peppermint something or other.
SO CHRISTMAS, I AM ALL ABOUT YOU. CHESTNUTS ROASTING ON AN OPEN FIRE AND SHIT. Oh my God, I am going to play NSYNC'S "HOME FOR CHRISTMAS" ALBUM SO SO SO MUCH!
In fact, starting Friday, Christmas fun is allowed, so I should make a mix on my iPod of all my Christmas music. That basically boils down to like one Jar of Clay Christmas album + Nsync's Home for Christmas + Lady Gaga's "Christmas Tree" song, but that's what free downloads are for. I will beef it up.

- I have been kind of over GLEE for a bit now, but the other day I was in the mood so I've been catching up a bit and I saw the Rocky Horror episode and SHIT GUYS WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME THEY HAD MEAT LOAF ON GLEE???? Also, I am kind of horrified they didn't do a whole assload of Meat Loaf songs, but whatever, another day. ANYWAY, I LOVE ROCKY HORROR SO MUCH MY ROOMMATE ALMOST KILLED ME OVER IT IN COLLEGE. The thing is I would listen to the soundtrack over and over and over until she was ready to murder me, but I don't even care, it's a great movie.
- I saw The House That Drips Blood On Alex (link here, you are WELCOME) ages ago and I've been meaning to watch The Room but had put it off until the other day, and OH MY GOD YOU GUYS, NEW FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!!!!
Let me wax poetic about my love of The Room now, because it is the greatest film EVER MADE OR EVEN CONCEIVED OF (EXCEPT FOR THE MOVIES I INTEND TO ONE DAY MAKE, WHICH ARE JUST AS GOOD) BUT SERIOUSLY.
First of all, apparently Tommy Wiseau was in PDX last month or something and I fucking MISSED IT because I HAD NO IDEA HE WAS HERE and my life is a black hole of sadness, but anyway, everyone should watch this movie IMMEDIATELY.
I mean, this is a man that filmed the whole movie on both 35mm and in high def because he didn't know the difference so he just bought both cameras and put them side-by-side.
THIS IS A MAN THAT SPENT $6 MILLION TO MAKE A MOVIE THAT I AM REASONABLY SURE COULD BE RECREATED WITH A BUDGET OF $100.
THIS IS A MAN THAT WHEN ASKED HOW HE CAME UP WITH $6 MILLION DOLLARS EXPLAINED THAT HE SOLD LEATHER JACKETS IMPORTED FROM KOREA.
I CANNOT EVEN BEGIN TO EXPRESS ANY OF THE AMAZING FEELINGS CHOKING OFF MY OXYGEN SUPPLY RIGHT NOW, BUT THEY ARE LEGION.
