I just finished reading "The Watchmen," a graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. Can I just say that it has reaffirmed my love for comics, as well as faith in humanity? It was an awesome book (can you call it a book?), and really put me into an artsy philosophical mood.
This weekend so far has been fairly jam-packed with awesome. While Thursday night (the new and BEST Friday) was fairly chill and inconsequential, Friday more than made up for it by being saturated with fun. First a concert at Ferry House, then a ritualistic orgy of fire with the Barefoot Monkeys, and finally a game played in Noyes Basement that answered the burning question of "What the heck is a Kobold, and where did my baby go?"
Life is good right now. Classes are well underway, my extracurriculars have been chosen, and I'm officially far too busy. I feel like that's the point that I'm most comfortable at, though. Still, I'm pretty much free to pursue my new outlook on life: Everything's all right. So yeah, life is good. Time to go do a little work so that things will continue to be all right.
