TV MEME!
Heya guys. Things have been 'bleeeeeeh' here, but that's just cos work be lame and I be lazy. At any rate, to encourage me to post to my journal more than once a fortnight, here's a TV Meme I'm gonna try.
Day 01 - A show that should never have been canceled.
Firefly should never, ever, ever have been cancelled! Though given how it was treated by Fox I'm amazed it made it to 13 episodes at all. What kind of minds put a narrative-heavy tv show on the air ass backwards and then cancel it before 7 episodes have aired? Damn. Just damn.
Well, all of you probably know why this show was brilliant - great acting, wonderful writing, tense drama, hilarious comedy, original imagination, pitch-perfect dialogue and awesome sfx are common notes on its performance... but put those aside and realize the awesome truth -- it was a Western in Outer Space.
Perhaps somethings are just too shiny to be allowed to live. Except as kick-ass movies
