The Impala

Who exactly owns the Impala now? Obviously it originally belonged to John, but he gave it to Dean (did that include paperwork?). When Dean was declared legally deceased, did the car ownership revert back to John or did Dean have a will that left everything (including the car) to Sam? If ownership did go back to John, when he died, would the car now belong to Sam?

Just curious, my curious kitty nature striking back at me for having such an annoying brain ;)
