Arcana by Sangga. R. Sam goes back to Lawrence, and Missouri, for the truth. Post series. Solid, evocative, smart, and...kind. Just a good story, that manages to warm without losing an ounce of the SPN creepiness and pain.

Civilization and Its Discontents, by Jane St Clair. NC-17. Dean and Gordon, which is why I'm reccing a PWP that I wouldn't likely look at twice if there was any other Gordon fic to be found. (Recs gratfully accepted.)
