Obviously it would make sense to read that first, but in a nutshell, Dean is back from Purgatory thanks to a ritual Sam found, but there are two problems: he's damaged both mentally and physically and he's reappeared on the other side of the world. Now released from the hospital, the boys are settling into life in the English countryside to continue Dean's recovery...
