Title: In The Rough
Rating: PG-PG13 (maybe)
Summary: The end of the world is coming and it is up to a hunter and a vampire to work together to save it. There's one problem. They can't stand each other! OC/SPN/Underworld
Character List: dfhdancr.livejournal.com/2553.html

A few notes to begin: First, this is both a crossover and an au story. In order to sort of understand you need to be familiar with the terminology and some of the characters of the Underworld movie series as well as the vampires of Supernatural. Also, although Sam and Dean are not actually related in this story they do have a relationship resembling that of brothers (similar to their relationship in SPN) Second, it may help to view the character list and discriptions that I offer on my LiveJournal account as it may help clear things up.
Comments are always appreciated, but if you don't like it and don't have any constructive criticisms don't read and don't tell!
Otherwise; enjoy!

Prologue

A young woman sat on the steps of a church, looking up into the rapidly darkening sky. She was of slim build with an uncommonly pretty face. Her eyes were deep green but would turn an electric blue when angry or feeding. Her hair was long and looked like trees in autumn; with red, brown, yellow, orange and even some black all mixed in. She looked to be in her late teens or early twenties, but there was sadness in her eyes that suggested she was much older than she looked. Her name was Darya and she was a vampire.

She stood suddenly, smiling now, in one graceful movement as three figures approached out of the darkness. As they came into view her smile faded and her face became a mask of emotions, moving to quickly across her face to be recognized. When they were only a few feet from her, Darya spoke, her voice as filled with emotions as her face, “You’re late Uirian.” The man she addressed was in the middle of the group and nodded his head in agreement, “I’m sorry Darya, I had a bit of trouble.” Darya turned her head to the side and crossed her arms, clearly angry. The man sighed and introduced his companions, “Darya this is Michael and Selene, Michael and Selene this is Darya,”

Darya looked at the two then, narrowing her eyes and surveying them closely. Michael was slightly taller than Uirian with longish blond hair, blue eyes, and a muscular body. He smiled politely at Darya and Darya scowled right back. The other, Selene, was a couple of inches taller than Darya with shoulder length black hair, hazel eyes and had a stern expression on her face. After she finished taking their measure, Darya turned her attention to Uirian. He looked as he always did calm, powerful, and charismatic. He had dark hair that went slightly past his ears in layers and seemed to be neither brown nor black. His eyes were the color of the sea after a storm and had the same sort of calmness. He was not as muscular as Michael, but his strength was evident in the way he stood and held himself.

After a few minutes of the stalemate Selene seemed to get impatient and spoke, turning to her companion, “Enough of this. Michael I told you this was a bad idea, let’s go.” Michael seemed reluctant but after a pause he sighed, clapped Uirian on his back, and made to follow Selene.
“Wait,” Uirian said and the two stopped from what was clearly an order and looked at each other, clearly surprised that they had done so. Turning to Darya he lowered his voice and seemed to plead with her, “they saved my life.” Darya gave no sign that she had heard his plea and Selene was about to continue walking when Darya, looking intently at Uirian, said “Fine! But we must hurry, the king is waiting.”
