Then: Rogue grimaced comically. "Now, we load up Wolverine and Miss Marcella there into our truck, and get gone before Dean and y' Dad wake up," she laughed. "Somehow, Ah think stickin' around much longer'd just put us right back in the middle of that showdown we stopped!"
"We did stop it," Sam agreed, pleased about that if nothing else. "Together."
Now: Sam would have to hide this stuff for the rest of his life, probably unable to talk about it with anyone. Well. Maybe unable to talk about it with anyone. Sam held up the small slip of paper on which Rogue had scrawled some numbers for him: another 'just in case.'
