I love knowing that I made the right decision about something / someone. It reaffirms my belief that I've grown wiser, even though there are those who cannot or will not recognize it. I have realized so much in the past several years. Not all of it has been beautiful, shocking, or destructive; in fact, some has been well within the scope of what I already knew - I just didn't want to admit it to myself (which may stem from humans' intrinsic need for consistency).
