Sean and I are mostly moved into our new place - a cozy triplex in Norton. Saturday was spent emptying the rest of my belongings out of my old space and cleaning it like crazy, with much aid from my mom. While we were doing that, my brothers were helping Sean get some of his bigger items (dresser, couch, etc.) and then assisted him with setting them up in the apartment. It is much nicer than anything I deserve. It's truly a wonderful thing to come home to a big, bright room (we get a lot of natural light) and see him there, working on his computer and sipping tea. The glass door in the livingroom leads to a little patio which overlooks a lovely wooded area; it's especially sweet when it rains. I feel like I can breathe a lot easier here, both in the physical and mental sense. Our new location is advantageous for both of our commutes, as I work in Seville and he just started (today, in fact!) at a job in Richfield; we're also very proximal to the Fairlawn-Montrose area. And though we haven't had much time to explore our new area, there is a whole lot to like about it. We even got a perfect view of the Cedar Festival fireworks from our kitchen window.
I met some neat, creative people the night before at Jim's, including his pretty lady. We all drank wine and ate some delicious homemade guacamole in the tepid dark and it was perfect.
