bizarre flashback
whoa this is a totally random weird flashback i just kind of remembered about. for all you ppl in lyric choir with me (i think it was 02-03, i was in 7th grade). for all you who dont know what im talking about, we were in this choir and we sang with this choir at nku and i really wanted the cd to the piece of music (haha yes i am a classical music buff sometimes, but really, this is pretty damn cool, dont laugh at me now!) so yea...
first, the concert:
actually, haha how coincidentally, the robinsons drove us down, (sorry i just couldnt resist, wow im odd) in our awful uncomfortable "uniforms" ugh they were awful, but they were worth it because i had a great time in choir. okay, anyway, we go in there, and we hang out and warm up and stuff.
some highlights of that hour or so:
-someone (aaagg i cant remember who) told us the details of her horror story she was writing. eek it was pretty damn scary, but it was cool b/c she made it up.
-we saw these lemon drop type things on the piano in our little holding room backstage. my friend and i were like, what are those? maybe theyre drugs or something, hahaha no theyre probably lemon things. hmm i wonder if were allowed to have them... probably not... hmmm... so this lady who i guess was in the adult choir came up and ate one and turned to us and said, you want one? you can have one. they help your throat. haha yea we kinda jumped all over the oppurtunity... politely of course. lol that was fun
so at the concert we had barely enough room to sit, so about 3 people got to sit in these comfy chairs right back stage with mrs holland, our director. in the rehearsal, i wasnt one of them, but in the performance, i was!!!! woohoo!! it was so much fun. i loved it, we were goofing off(silently lol) the whole time!! i just cant remember who was back there with me...
yea so that was cool. it was my first big classical music concert, and it was so loud, and so exciting. i loved it! haha okay im done with that
now, onto the other thing... lol
i wanted to get the cd of carmina burana, the o fortuna stuff, no really, its cool. and i finally found the name tonite when i was looking for my free ringtone for sprite!!! i was like aah!! woohoo! internally of course, my fam thinks im crazy already.
sooo yea im pumped! haha i love my weird obsessions
but seriously ive been looking for this cd since 7th grade. hah!
