Word Count: 5,135
As far as the averages of where a NaNo-er should be, I'm slightly above the curve. To complete a novel in 30 days you need an average of 1,667 words a day. After three days I should be at 5,001, so I'm just barely above the average. I really wished I could have written more, but some happy news really killed any ambition to write. I was far too hyper and bouncing off the walls to get anything done. Chapter 3 is probably about halfway done at this point, which is good.
Tomorrow, god help me, I hope to hit around 10,000 words. I'm going to have a full weekend so I want to get ahead of my wordcount! I have the full day off from classes so I'd like to take that opportunity and write write write! Hopefully I'll be a little bit more subdued tomorrow. Goodnight. :)
