out of the mouths of babes
last night was spent at my mums house "celebrating" my cousins b'day *cringe* the upside was a conversation i overheard between my mum and my lil one.
Elora- "cat!" (points excitedly at mums burman)
mum- "thats chloe (to elora) here chlo! (to the cat)"
Elora- "here tlo!"
mum- "come on darling" (to cat)
Elora- "tum on dahning"
mum- "I'm an echo"
Elora- "I'm an echo!"
i wandered in at that point to find my mum lying on the floor coughing, coz she was laughing so hard, with elora patting her on the back and saying "yotay?"
then i spent the rest of the day trying not to stab my cousin in the face with a screwdriver, and trying to stop Elora from kicking the crap out of my cousins 10mth old. i can't decide if elora and i are just violent in general, or if my cousin carries the genes for stupid. i'm becoming more and more convinced it's the latter.
on a more sombre note, looks like my valiant is now for sale. it's gonna break my heart to let her go, but i just can't justify the extra rego, when the car is so impractical for carting children around :( and i just finished all the mechanical work too... *sigh*
