squid ink
today is a routine day for me.
school, then work.
there's only one funny incident for me today at tapas tree.
well we have a dish called Fideua Negra which is something like pasta
with seafood and all sauteed in squid ink.
so if i can describe the color, its DARK BLACK. haha.. how dark can black get? =)
so anyway, a customer ate this black dish and yes, not only he dirtied the table but suddenly when i look at him, he got a GOTHIC look. haha. the ink was all over his lips and teeth!
so this was the conversation.
me: can i get you anything else before i end your lovely evening?
customer: hmm.. i think i'm done. just get me the cheque. thank you
me being an idiot that i am
me: would you like some serviettes(sorry i dunno how to spell)?
customer: what for...
me: well, there's squid ink all over your lips and yeah..
customer: oh.. bring me some then.
haha.. i wanted to burst when i saw his expression. the kind like embarassed but show you're tough kind.
so anyway, that's about it for tonight. and, i forgot to add this in yesterday.
i've had the most beautiful conversation with two people yesterday. sorted things out cause our friendship is rocky and really felt better after that. we need to catch up on a lot of stuff.
those 2 loved ones, you know who you are...
