“I’m ready,” Koki struggles with the syllables, and whines when Junno ignores him to slide one more finger in. He does it quickly, before Koki can get a good grip on the lead and pull him away; Junno finally obeys, pulling his fingers out and wiping them on the sheets. Junno returns and leans over Koki, patiently waiting as Koki unbuckles the collar, leaving the lead attached to it; the whole kit joins their discarded clothing.
Junno tugs the blanket and sheets out from under Koki, then joins him in bed. Blankets pulled comfortably around them, Koki lets Junno gather him up in his arms. Before they doze off, Koki threads fingers into Junno’s hair once more, half-petting him as he pulls the puppy ears off and drops them over the edge of the bed.
