i like it. good point in lack of diversity in courses, i agree.

one minor disparity in our opinions: intro paragraph you regard drugs, alcohol, and sex as 'disastrous'. i can fathom how they can be 'superficial pressures' as they are in high school, but disastrous? maybe i am just a liberal college student fighting desperately for unmitigated freedom, but do you truly believe that (opinion question)?

if not, i can only urge you to rephrase... stand up for your beliefs. Assuming this is for Hahn, she loves that shit, and it makes assignments more fun (as i see controversy as fun). if it isn't for Hahn, for the sake of a grade, i understand the necessity to diarrhea the teacher's beliefs on paper.

Scholarship essay, not Hahn. It asked for three problems facing teens, and it's graded partially on creativity, so I was thinking of a way to have a different repsonse than most applicants. Drug sex and alcohol are ok in my book!
