I went to see Ben Folds on Sunday. It was wonderful. I really wish he could have played a longer set though.
On Saturday Dell left yet another message saying it would be another month before I got my laptop, so I took my business elsewhere. I took advantage of the tax-free holiday and went to Best Buy. The computer section was insanely crowded but for some reason a salesperson helped me almost immeditely. I told him exactly what I wanted (an HP with intel processors) and he delivered. He didn't even try to convince me to buy a bunch of useless accessories. The lappy that I got has a larger screen and two hard drives (thus more memory) than the Dell. And it was a little cheaper. Woohoo.
My mom is in Chicago for a few days and this has upset my dog. Poor puppy.
