I'm in Boise.
Lots of stuff happened before I left I guess, going away party etc...but that all feels far away.
The road trip (condensed):
Went up to Niagara, accidentally crossed into Canada, saw Alfonso briefly, went through Ohio, saw Oberlin, ate Shistawouk, let Siri run around Wilder Bowl, stopped in Toledo, saw Greer (yay!) and his housemates, drank whiskey, drove through Indiana and Illinois, saw lots of truckers, got lost in the ghetto in Chicago for a minute, went through a massive thunderstorm in Wisconsin, saw Sulman, met his parents, they made us cookies which I accidentally left on the couch :( - I'm lame, went through South Dakota, it's flat, saw the sketchiest trucker stop ever, slept in the Badlands, heard coyotes, it rained in the morning and we had to scramble to get all of our stuff back in the car - Kristy didn't have the rain fly for her tent...at least it didn't rain while we were sleeping, drove through more South Dakota, drove through Wyoming, got to Yellowstone at night, saw a little wolf, realized the food we bought in Madison was soaked, it was cold, woke up in Yellowstone, drove around and saw lots of pretty things like mountains, and steam coming out of the ground and bubbling mud...saw Old Faithful explode, drove out of Yellowstone, through the Tetons - they were amazing, drove through Jackson Hole, stopped for coffee, almost took a picture to send to Jesse...but were antsy to get to Boise, crossed the Tetons, got a little off course cause I got distracted by pretty mountains, then it was more flat, but prettier than South Dakota, and you could see the smoke coming up in the distance from the fires in the forest, and now I'm in Boise...for the next five days...then Seattle.
