Ok, so I'm all moved into my apartment in Monmouth. Everything is unpacked and things are going pretty well. On the job front: Yesterday I got on the WOU website where they have some job postings listed for the community. I called/sent emails to three of them(all babysitting), and I heard back from one today. I'm having kind of a phone interview with the mom tonight, so then I'll have a better idea of how often I'll watch her kids (there are two of them) and how much I'll be making. Then today I was on Craigslist and Goodwill had an ad up for a full time cashier in Salem. So I went in and filled out an application, and had a preliminary interview with a manager. I'm not opposed to working at Goodwill, but the issue is that the hours are really set in stone, and there's no requesting time off. I got a call back for another interview on Monday morning, but I just have a feeling that this job isn't going to work out for me. I'll call them back tomorrow after I get a feel for this babysitting job. If I think that the babysitting job can't get me by until I find a more flexible job, then I'll turn down Goodwill. If not, then I guess I'll just have to accept it, even though I'd really rather not.
