I moved from one city to another where I no longer had a signal. I called to report the poor coverage problem and they said tough shit, so the next month I called again to report the same problem and they said document every dropped call, so I did and then I called back and this guy said I shouldn't have had to do that as they knew they didn't have coverage there and he would release me from my contract with them. So the next month I got this huge bill and they didn't disconnect me, so I called back (4 months of this problem at this point) and was told I couldn't be released without paying a $200 fine...

At this point I was rather furious and paid off what I owed and told them to release me or deal with my attorney. They released me and then sent me another bill for another $200 and I told them to forget it. There was no way I was paying anymore for such crappy service and treatment.

So there you have it...

wow that does suck. I only have a one year contract with them, so I'll see where I'm at with them then.

Trick one: somewhere along the line when you signed your contract or signed up for service or whatever - you may have been asked for that checking info . Did you remember anyone (like the sales dude) asking for a routing number and a bank account number? Yea, it is illegal to just draw funds from your bank account without authorization so somewhere along the line they sneaked you into it without fully explaining what exactly would happen ( ... )
