Vacations
It's funny how I always feel guilty when I take a vacation. I'm going down south to visit relatives in the beginning of july, and i'll be there for two weeks. It's been stressing me out because I just started in my third rotation lab and I feel like a slacker going away, even though I'm allowed the vacation time since I opted not to take a break between rotations. I found out the dates I'd be going while my lab was at a conference, and they just got back today, so I told Marcos that I'd be taking 2 weeks off this morning. He totally didn't care and was like yeah, you should take a vacation, so now I'm actually looking forward to taking a trip and relaxing on the beach, which is what I should have been doing all along. Guilt trips are funny things...it's a good thing that kind of trip doesn't count as vacation time.
