Gorillas and Penguins and Lorikeets Oh My!
I have a "farmer's tan" of sorts on my forehead.
John and I went to the Zoo today for four hours. It was awesomely fun. We saw most of the animals except a few that were hidden. The best parts were the gorillas, penguins, and lorikeets. Lorikeet landing is awesome! You buy these little cups of nectar and the birds come and land on you and eat it. John had 2 land on him straight off. One finally landed on me. Then another landed on my head. Then I had em on my shoulders.
The penguins were awesome. They kept swimming which was cool but I never got to see them waddle :( The gorillas were swinging all over the place and having a grand time. Very fun to watch.
Needless to say, I enjoyed myself. BUT! I got a sun burn! Damn paleness. Plus the way my hair was covering a part of my forehead, near my hairline is still pale, but the rest is lobster like!
I look really ridiculous haha even my scalp is burned.
