Today is the first day of the rest of your life....

I've been thinking. ('wow', I hear you cry in amazement)
I blame this sudden bout of thinking on the fact that we recently clocked in the new year. I celebrated the changing of digits by staying up until around 6am, and only stopping drinking about 5 minutes before crashing onto my pillow.
Needless to say, I was too drunk to make resolutions that night.

But over the last day or two I have decided that I need to MAKE CHANGES IN MY LIFE. I've always wanted to live with no regrets, and finally realised this means NOT DOING THINGS I WILL REGRET LATER. Simple but logical right?

In roughly a month and a half, I will be leaving friends, family and familiarity to go to a University two hours away....a small step really after going to Germany for a year. But anyway, the point is it will be the perfect oppertunity to make a fresh start. I learn from my mistakes, but I've made fuck loads of mistakes in the past...and now, I think I'll be able to live with a lot less mistakes if I follow my resolutions

If that made any sense at all.

Anyway, Christmas was nice. Cromwell was a welcome getaway....It was great to be able to catch up with some of my friends for a road trip + few days camping. After we head off in seperate directions in a few months, I'll be able to keep the memories off sunburn and storms, too much alcohol and too little sleep....and the amazing INFLATABLE PILLOW!

PS: I think I could easily fall (am falling / have fallen?) for someone completely unexpected. Crazy because we barely know each other....yet.
More later.
