Whining for no particular reason

*sigh*  I usually try to blog intellectually, but I'm not having a particularly intellecutal day.  I subjected myself to lunch with my grandparents, which always leaves me rather depressed, but I've been kind of down for the past week or so.  I'm going to blame it on fussing too much about my writing - as usual.  I've started writing some essays with the intent of trying to publish them, so I can feel like I'm making some progress on my goal to be a working writer.  Of course, being my own worst critic, I look at them and think "great, I wrote drivel."
I think I'll stop complaining and surfing the net and work on my fantasy world.  Perhaps that will help.
