Oh oh, this pairing makes me happy and breaks my heart at the same time. They're so bromantic and it's so adorable and slashable. But there's that potential underlying unrequite love, because it's already shoved in the audience's faces that Moon Jae Shin is nothing but heads-over-heels for Yoon Hee. And Yong Ha, Yong Ha makes my heart aches. Because he actually admits in episode 13 that he likes Moon Jae Shin. Granted, a lot of people think that he says that only to encourage Lee Son Joon, I think he's actually genuine about it. If anything, Yong Ha is extremely loyal when it comes to Moon Jae Shin. Initially, I thought he's with the president's crowd. But as soon as Moon Jae Shin enters, Yong Ha seems to orbit around him and eventually becomes a part of the quartet. His initial image of being the president's posse is completely floored.
And that promise to bring Lee Son Joon and Yoon Hee back from the island for the sake of Moon Jae Shin. It feels like a confession! A lot of people would disagree, as he's such a womanizer. But Yong Ha had admitted at some point in the show that he's not interested in any gisaeng, because he needs someone more interesting. Originally, I thought he would fall for Yoon Hee as well, but Yong Ha really strays away from the expected. Through all the events, he just seems like he's curious about her gender more than being attracted to her. Why? Because his reaction to her is completely different from either Lee Son Joon and Moon Jae Shin. He's playful with her the same way he interacts with other females in the series.
Conclusion from this epic brain fart?
I SHIP IT. It's lovely, sweet, angsty and heartbreaking. I especially ship it from Yong Ha's point of view, because Moon Jae Shin is in too deep for Yoon Hee that he can't even see Yong Ha any more than a close friend. Argh my heart. But it's such a good ache.
On RL,
- I got sick :C . Scratchy throat, coughings, headaches, etc. What's the point of getting that flu shot again?
- Want to write a Moon Jae Shin/Yong Ha fanfic so badly -wrings hands- but alas, no time
- Midterms are coming. Noooooooo
- Pity the fools that are the pledges. Their list of accomplishments are impressive there's no doubt, but I can't help but think they should be doing something better with their time. Then again, what does this say about me pledging last quarter?
On 2pm's mini album
- I like "I'll be back". I've liked it since I heard the melody in the teaser. But when the official song releases... well, I feel strongly about a thing or two...
- CHANSUNG SHOULD NOT SING. "I'll be back" was completely ruined for me because of him. His voice is ear-grating, borderlining a boy that's still going through voice-breaking puberty. He's unfit to be given that high note in the second verse because his execution was subpar.
- Overall, it's a good, solid mini-album, though it's not as good as their previous stuff for me. I thought even "Don't stop can't stop" was better than this album.
- "I can't" is beautiful!!
