WONDER GIRLS CONCERT was AWESOME
and I'm saying this because my bias did a fantastic job! Honestly, I was there mainly for 2PM, but Wonder Girls were definitely a bonus.
Everyone is so good-looking, a lot more good-looking in real life actually. I've always thought Yoobin was attractive, but seeing her in RL, she looked so much hotter than in any pictures or videos.
Wooyoung is so so so so so cute. And it's not only my bias speaking, but I was honestly starstrucked when I saw him :)
He was a bit reluctant to speak English, and seemed a lot less enthusiastic compared to the other members.
Looooved Junsu's gangster English. "Baby widout chuu!!"
2PM only performed 5 songs. The flips they did for 10/10 was so well-executed, despite the small stage.
Lim's so adorable. I've always perceived her as awkward from photos and videos, but she seemed very comfortable during the concert. She knew how to work the crowd, and her intro was pretty natural.
The concert floor was packed, and people were squished together. I felt very dirty by the end of it all. I got a pretty good view and I was pretty close to the stage, not so close that I would be able to touch the singers though. Then, half-way through the concert, some idiotic fanboy, being like six feet or something, somehow got in front, and blocked my view for the rest of the concert. He's not exactly a skinny boy either, so I was forced to crane my neck to see things, or look through the gap between his head and his arms. I had to resist the urge to tap on his back and flip him off when he turns around.
There was also another fanboy behind me, stanning hard... for EVERYBODY. He droned on for the first 20 minutes of the concert ("WOOYOUNG I LOVE YOU! I said it first!", "Yoobin, you're so hot, so so hot!"). He even put his arms over my head so he can take pictures!
In the end, I came out all sweaty (with not only my own sweat...), and tired.
Overall experience? I enjoyed it. The tickets were cheap ($50 for general admission). The standing wasn't ideal, but looking at the VIP box, I thought the general admission gives a more authentic feel of a "concert" or a "rave". Plus, people on the floor was so much more enthusiastic than those in the VIP box. Probably because they actually have chairs, the people in the VIP box look so unspirited and lazy in their seats. They weren't even cheering.
Although I didn't get to do meet-and-greet ($150), I heard it was all-together a rushed meeting anyway. So I don't regret it at all. Plus, seeing them was worth it. I like the artists/audience barrier, so I feel that I didn't really need the meet-and-greet experience. It'd be nice to talk to them, but I'd rather it'd be by chance (like running into them in a store or something. Haha, I wish) than being ushered through and through by security just so they can sign things perfunctorily and take one picture with me.
It was, in general, a good experience :)
