yeah...it is hard to let go...of anything...we're all so spoiled by excess stuff...I feel so rotten that I have so much stuff when others have none at all...of all the people in the world...I don't deserve everything I have...I've thought about that often...why am I this lucky while others...others who are so much nicer and pure of heart...why don't they have what I do? why do some people die of illness or natural disasters or whatever...and selfish people-like me-allowed to still live? what did I do to deserve all this...when others can't have it? why? omg...here we go again with my why ranting...lol...

It is unfair that some people have more than others. Life isn't fair, and though we can temporarily alleviate that problem and balance things out for awhile by donating here and there, we never never completely fix it.

However nobody chooses whether he or she is born into a life of wealth or poverty. Being ashamed of your good fortune isn't going to help anything. Rather, since you have all this, what you can do is just be thankful and make the best of your resources. The only reason anyone should be ashamed of their fortune is if he or she lets it go to waste.

I heard some people just put the stuff they don't need in a box and after a year when they don't remember what's in the box then they throw it away or give it to someone else. maybe I'll try that : P
