update
so i haven't written on this puppy for quite sometime, eh? Because I've been...otherwise occupied, I guess. So let me just tell everyone that I am surviving the semester. Sadly, I doubt there's a 4.0 in my future, but hey, I came to grips with that about 8 years back. It's more like a 3.5, and while that's good for some, it's mediocrity for me, and I'm content with it. The other day I was talking to my brother, and he was asking me how my social life is, and I realized that I don't really have a social life. The most socializing I've done in the past two months was...either in the parking lot yesterday, or at the emergency room last month...I'm a nerd. The conversation went like this with my brother:
JJ-so...how's your social life?
me-Uhhh...I go to class, go to work, come home and hang out with (insert name of guy I spend all my time with) all night.
JJ-what about like your friends?
me-...I don't think I have those anymore.
JJ-are you okay with that?
me-surprisingly, even if I do have them I'd rather spend the time with him-I'm turning into exactly the kind of person I'm morally against. This is wrong, way wrong.
JJ-laughs hysterically.
And thus it goes. My plans for the summer are as follows: I'm hoping I get the job here that I applied for, if not, I think I'm going to have to move to savannah to live with my sister and brother-in-law, if that's okay with them. I need to earn money. I hate money. I wish we worked on a barttering system still, though I don't have anything I could barter with...still, it's the principle of the whole thing. So I guess this is my update-see, I'm becoming more boring with every day. Soon I'll be talking about my health and the weather and other topics of old people. ahhhhhhhh
