Just got back from Haiping's birthday celebration at Essential Brews. It was great catching up with the bunch of them just like the old times. It's funny how we could concur up such wide range of topics, from real lame stuff to social issues to toilet bowls and vending machines. We would have gone on and on if not for EB closing at 2am. We sat there from 7pm till 2am freezing, butt aching and legs cramping but it was all worth it. :)
Peektures!

I usually wouldn't update this fast but the main reason for this post was so that I could declare my love for my dear mum!

For those who know me personally, you would know that I’m an extremely messy and lazy person. The tidiest my room can ever be, is when I just moved into the room. Needless to say, it probably only last a day or two max. Also, I’m an extreme shopaholic who spends money way beyond anyone’s imagination. What’s worse, I’m NOT exaggerating! Putting these two horrible traits of mine and you get a burst wardrobe with clothes and bags sprawled everywhere in my room.

Each of the two years I’ve moved back from hall, I’ve been leaving behind a luggage of clothes untouched in my room as I didn’t want to bring too much to hall. I’ve accumulated 2 lugagge in my room after two years of shifting. I haven’t had the time to clear it up with the mad rush of exams, internship, bkk and back to school. My dear mother actually went through ALL the mess, hung up my bags and the other rubbish, cleared out my 2 luggage of clothes, washed them, ironed them, and folded them ever so neatly. (except they’re on my bed now because there is simply no space in my wardrobe) Imagine the shock and the warmness in my heart coming home at 2am just to be greeted by piles of fresh clothes painstakingly prepared by my mum. I was speechless and uber touched!

My heart ached when I saw my pile of washed clothes waiting to be ironed and folded. I’m so guilty of spending my family’s money while my mum have to clean up the HUGE mess I’ve created. She bought me a personal shoe cabinet seeing how my shoes have flooded the common one. She nags at my mountain of clothes but still lugs every single piece out for cleaning. She even paid for my all my trips overseas and my buys that I bring back just to add to the mountain of mess.

Sigh, I’m such a horrible daughter. If only I could curb my spending and be neater. I absolutely LOVE my mum. She’s doing all these for me despite only seeing her 2 days a week and having a mere dinner with the family. She’s been extremely supportive of my shop, schoolwork, internship, and relationships and ferries me around despite missing her yoga lesson whenever I was late. I shall write / text her a big thankyou and loveyou note!

My mum’s the BESTEST BEST!
