It's Chinese New Year! Huat Ah!
Its 4am, my class is in 6 hours, and I'm still bright awake. Very much credited to sleeping at an unearthly hour of 9.30am! School pretty much spoilt the festive mood. I had to finish my design module assignment, prepare for the 3 tutorials tomorrow, and worry that I can't wake up in time. AHHH. :(
But it has been a very good CNY! :D This year was very fuss free for me. I didn't fuss bout outfits, how my hair will look didn't really bother to dress to the nines, I'd rather sleep in late. :D The first 2 days were the norm. Grandma's place, "Ooh-ed and Ahh-ed" at how cute the kids have grown, made small talks with relatives, GAMBLED, then off to JB. I won a mere 4 bucks. :( But better than nothing! :D
We would then stay over at JB, and so the very bored kids had to find their source of entertainment. We used to have bags of fire crakers, fireworks etc 'cos the law there doesn't really care if you burnt down your neighbor's house, or the whole neighborhood. So it was loads of kiddy fun. But now that we've grown, we've stop bombing our ears off since a few years back. We went K-boxing instead! :D 5 mins walk from the grandma's house. JB is so freaking DANGEROUS, I seriously wouldn't dare step out of the house for fear of being ROBBED/RAPED. Yikes.
We mahjong-ed then it was back to home sweet home! :D
Day three was A KILLER. I had to hop to THREE places. It could have been 4 if not for the fact that there's only 24 hrs a day. :/ What's up with people and Saturday, seriously? And it's not like they were close to each other. It was Tanah Merah -> Kovan -> Pasir Ris -> Bukit Timah -> Tanah Merah. OH MY HORRID GOSH. But being a very nice friend, its not good to decline invitations. :D And mummy, being very very nice, lent me her car despite her needing to cab. :D
So yeap, Josh's house. Where I LOST 20 bucks to YB because his luck is CRAZY! He was banker. In merely the first 3 rounds, he had 2 blackjacks and 1 Gorleng. And even when he had shitty cards like 12, he would draw a 9. WTH. I bet he was wearing red undies! Hmph!
Then rushed to Ying Hwee's bbq party!
The sparkles were the highlight. Sooo pretty! :D And yes, we crazy little girls camwhored. :D
3rd stop, no piccas taken 'cos I was busy gambling. Alan's house or rather, Alan's gambling den(Opened throughout the night). Played BlackJack, where I lost $2, and then In between, and I won $70!!! HAHAHAAHA. In Between is such a fantastic game. Its extremely heart pumping and dramatic. Imagine 3 guys paying double of EVERYTHING in the bowl, in a row. At one point there was $400+ in the bowl. Crazy!! And yes, that's how much some people might have lost. Damn exciting and am very very glad I made some shopping money! :D
I especially love CNY cos every year I'll get to spend it with both my family, the extended family as well as most of my friends! Joyous occasion, isn't it? :P
Ok, I shall try to go to bed now, and pray that I wake up in time tomorrow. :D
