Bitching off and going deaf

At lunch when the rest of our friends were at football training, my two friends and I just sat there and bitched about three people...who are actually friends of ours. But even though we were being quite mean, a lot of what we were doing was simply pointing out their faults...and, OK, we bitched pointlessly as well.

In other news, I seriously believe I'm going deaf. The other day Sinead accused Mrs Y of deceiving her (long story); the latter said she was quite flattered that S would think that. I thought she said FATTENED. Needless to say I was quite confused. And Aoife was away for a whole schoolday with the third years, and our Irish teacher told us to give her the homework when we saw her. Sinead said, 'She'll be really angry.' Absent-mindedly, I replied, 'No, they went for something to eat on the way back.' Lord.

If I don't have my laptop back by Halloween, I shall seriously go mad. Or possibly break down. Or both. I want to finish my Halloween challenge fanfic before, y'know, Halloween. And I'm tired of huddling in this cold room with a big shirt over my uniform, and I tired of my bum being sore on this chair.

Well, I suppose it's films again for me tonight. At least "Death of a President" is on tomorrow - the mockumentary about G. Bush getting shot. I wish he would get shot. Maybe that's an awful thing to say - maybe it's stupid, too - but I really think the world would be a LOT better without him.

screwed-up politics, laptop drama
